Concrete Closeboard Bay

A concrete closeboard bay is a section of a fence built with concrete posts and gravel boards for enhanced durability, and then topped with traditional closeboard fencing. The concrete components are the foundation, with gravel boards preventing rot and concrete posts providing robust support, while the closeboard part is constructed with overlapping vertical feather-edge boards nailed to horizontal arris rails. This method offers a strong, solid fence that is less prone to ground-level rot than a standard wooden fence.
